Gamification, Learning and Playful Thinking...
We take gamification seriously, it is part of our methodology.
With four board games under our belt, and two card games, it's playful thinking on another level.
Confidence is Boss
This is a question-driven game that throws participants into the deep end of personal growth to acquaint players with their best self.
Game Time is Growth Time
The fundamental element of Confidence is Boss is the V.I.C.T.O.R.Y. acronym. The 'C' represents confidence and is the ringleader in the game.
The acronym symbolize seven enduring qualities essential to victory.
The psychological element of each quality is explored by remastering their essence for an optimal experience.
It is truly a critical thinking fiesta for personal development.
Winston Churchill said, "politics is not a game, but a serious business." This board game has a seriously comical overtone, but you are going to need your thinking cap. Although right and left suggest different directions politically, both are ideological and hypocritical at the same time.
Whoever said politics is no fun has never put a creative spin on the constitution and the leaders of this Country. Strategy is one thing, tact is a whole other story.
Every player is given $150 to start. How you spend it to survive will reveal at the end if it's strictly business, politics or heart?
Aahh! For all the lovers out there. We are consciously linking love and your story. This is a perfect way to get to know him or her. Or simply to find your person. You can:
- See if there's a connection
- Ask some important questions
- See if you are on the same page
- Coupling seduction and adventure to find true love
Let the connections begin.
How would you handle the spotlight if it was on you? Here's your chance to get some practice. Will you land on the scandals more often or be considered a sweetheart? For the win:
- 2 Scandals
- 2 Spotlight challenges
- 2 Sweethearts
Also for the win, a player experienced all 5 spotlight challenges.
In a race to prove who has more brass, balls and staying power:
- A President
- An Entrepreneur
- A Company Executive
- And a Personal Assistant
Utilized the V.I.C.T.O.R.Y. acronym to attain all characteristics within the acronym, groomed all occupations under each quality, while using the numbers 7, 14, 21 as substitute to fill in the gaps for personal victory.

HEY, I'M SOPHIA!
I can’t wait for you to discover the excitement, laughter and the learning curve you will experience playing any of the games I mentioned above. I want to make "playful thinking" a thing.
Everyone has a game inside them. What would yours be? Before 2018, I had no clue that I had the ability to create four board games. It wasn't even a thought. I went to visit my eldest daughter who was doing an internship at a place in Brooklyn NY. This company create/develop business kit for businesses. My daughter said to me one day, mummy why don't you develop a business kit for your business. I seriously had no idea what to come up with, but we brainstormed and a board-game highlighting my brand name - V.I.C.T.O.R.Y. - came up. V.I.C.T.O.R.Y. Trail Game was the original name. I've since settled on Confidence is Boss, which made more sense, as confidence represents the 'C' in the acronym.
It took me two weeks to sketch something worthy, but months to have a viable board-game. Actually, it was an entire year going back and forth trying to make the game make sense. Such is the beginning of my obsession with creating board games. The mental mapping of making a game work is exciting; developing the rules, establishing the mechanics and dynamics that are often symbolic in any game setting, but always in the backdrop a few learning curves that adds to my methodology.
Once I discovered that creative side of myself, it was hard to stop and even politics started to look like an interesting subject to explore not just for satire but for gamification purposes.
I think I was definitely taken outside my comfort zone. But I like being introspective about myself and my goals!

I had a lot of fun playing the game and a lot of fun winning as well. It is definitely an innovative concept and really made me think. It can be a great game as an icebreaker or even for a tight circle of friends!
